Turbo Fire Turbo Fire(0)

How does it work?
Exercising at your max in short (less than 1 minute) intervals improves
aerobic and anaerobic energy release and cranks up your body’s metabolism
to burn calories faster. So you burn more stored body fat to help you
recover from the workout. This occurs because the intense intervals fatigue
your muscle groups. In turn, your body works overtime to replenish the
tired muscles with oxygen, creating the AfterBurn Effect, which can last for
up to 24 hours after you’ve finished class.

The Turbo Fire workout is a new exercise video system by Beach Body that combines music, dance and martial arts to bring you a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout that will help you lose weight faster than ever before.

The Turbo Fire workout was developed by fitness innovator Chalean Johnson and she will help you get liner with exercises that can burn up to nine times more fat than regular cardio. And with over 20 smoking-hot music remixes you will remain motivated and push through and past your limites.

Chalean Johnson is a popular personal trainer you has found huge success in the workout DVD industry and has already developed many popular workout series such as Turbo Jam and Charlene Extreme. Her newest workout, Turbo Fire is said to be one of her best and most intense workout DVD releases yet.

The Turbo Fire workout is a good solution for people looking to workout at home. It will allow you to get rid of unnecessary membership and monthly gym fees and will give you the convenience to work out in the privacy and comfort of your home.

The Turbo Fire workout is a high intense workout that consists mainly of plyometric movements and cardio bursts. This means that you will be moving around, getting your heart pumping and burning calories throughout your workout. P90X P90X(0)

The program has been devised by Beachbody LLC, a fitness company based in California that has created some of America’s most popular in-home fitness programs and weight loss solutions. It would appear that the P90X fitness program is their leading product, based upon general media publicity and marketplace response.

At the request of customers of the original P90 fitness program, P90X (short for P90 Extreme, as it is sometimes also called) is a program devised by renowned celebrity fitness trainer Tony Horton, and is essentially based upon a series of 12 DVD fitness workouts, which in combination are designed to transform the body over a period of 90 days.

Assisting Horton in the development of the P90X program were nutrition specialist, educator and chef Carrie Watt, fitness and nutrition expert Mark Sisson, while Mason Bendewald and Ned Farr managed the creative production side of the product.

The basis of the program is what Horton calls Muscle Confusion (TM), a concept of constantly introducing the body to new moves and workout routines (so-called cross-training), so that the muscles never experience a plateau effect (ie. where the muscles adapt to – and get used to – certain exercises over time) and to keep the user motivated.

To understand more about the program’s patented Muscle Confusion concept, visit the official P90X website and click on any of the 12 workout image thumbnails, via the link at the top of this page.

The 12-set DVD package is reportedly an intense and rigorous training program and is complemented by a nutrition plan, a fitness plan, calendar and free online support tools to assist in implementing the program successfully.

Through this technique of muscle confusion, P90X claims to be able to deliver best results: an evenly fit and healthy physique which has been thoroughly worked out in a well-balanced manner.

The program claims to assist those who are seeking to simply become fitter and leaner, and also those whose fitness is already established and want to build muscle.

P90X has been on the market since 2004 and is to date Beachbody’s best-selling product after years of positive word-of-mouth and heavy rotation via infomercial TV advertising. It is proving to remain one of the most popular fitness programs in the in-home fitness marketplace (source: Beachbody).

As stated above, the P90X fitness program is essentially a series of 12 fitness DVDs, with each one targeting different skills and muscles. Most of the workouts are around one hour in duration, although the abdominal workout (Ab Ripper X) is performed after six of the DVD workouts, which adds approximately 15 minutes to each routine concerned.

To read more specific information about the Ab Ripper X routine, follow this link: P90X Ab

Therefore, if the consumer is prepared to set aside one hour to one hour and fifteen minutes per day, the program may be implemented.

The P90X 12 workout DVDs are outlined as follows:

  • 01 Chest and Back A strength/definition workout emphasizes 2 classic upper-body exercises (53 mins)
  • 02 Plyometrics An intense jump-training cardio routine proven to improve athletic performance (58 mins)
  • 03 Shoulders and Arms A combination of pressing, curling and fly movements to build strength (60 mins)
  • 04 Yoga X Combines strength, balance, flexibility and breath work to enhance physique and mind (92 mins)
  • 05 Legs and Back A workout based on squats, lunges and pulls for a total body workout (59 mins)
  • 06 Kenpo X A workout including punching and kicking for endurance, balance and coordination (59 mins)
  • 07 X Stretch Achieve a higher level of athleticism over time and prevent injuries and plateaus (57 mins)
  • 08 Core Synergistics Build and support multiple muscle groups to build and support the body core (58 mins)
  • 09 Chest, Shoulders and Triceps A routine that targets both large and small upper body muscles (56 mins)
  • 10 Back and Biceps Targets biceps and focuses on toning and tightening arm muscles (51 mins)
  • 11 Cardio X Low-impact cardio, fat-burning routine that is designed to assist lean body muscle (43 mins)
  • 12 Ab Ripper X An intense short workout designed to develop the abdominal muscles (abs) (16 mins)

Each of these workout routines is explained in detail via a short video presented by Horton himself, should the consumer have questions prior to any possible purchase of the product.

To access these videos, visit the official P90X website and click on any of the 12 workout image thumbnails on the home page, via the link at the top of this page.

As stated above, the DVDs are complemented by a comprehensive nutrition plan which the makers of the product claim is as important in achieving success as using the fitness workouts themselves.

According to Horton, the nutrition plan has been designed to operate in tandem with the P90X routines, and aims to provide the perfect combination of foods to satisfy the body’s energy needs while the user is applying the program.

The nutrition plan is essentially a 3-phase eating plan, and can be summarized as follows:

  • Phase 1: Fat Shredder A high protein-based diet designed to assist the user strengthen muscle while at the same time rapidly shedding fat from the body
  • Phase 2: Energy Booster A balanced mix of carbohydrates and protein with a reduced amount of fat to provide additional energy for performance
  • Phase 3: Endurance Maximizer An athletic diet of complex carbohydrates, lean proteins and lower fat, with an emphasis on more carbohydrates

To read more about the nutrition plan, visit the official P90X website via the link at the top of this page.
